Flying High is a habitable country house in need of refurbishing but could be converted into a fantastic rural hotel or B&B. The casa is situated in the beautiful countryside of Rute, Cordoba.
This 100 plus year old house is spread out over two floors measuring roughly 200 m2. The living space consists of:

Living room with a rustic open fireplace measuring about 16 m2

As you can see a bathroom is needed but there is plenty of space for at least one.
Through out the interior are many rustic features such as original wooden doors, ceiling beams, window frames and so on.
Outside you have a very large plot of land measuring approximately 9,000 m2 containing 100 olive trees. Part of the land is sloped but there is a flat area with lots of space for a swimming pool.
Growing wild on the land are artichokes and asparagus. I took “samples” home and believe me they tasted out of this world!
At the back of the house is large patio with a built in BBQ.
At the front is a lovely cobbled patio shaded by the overhead grape vines. According to the locals the grapes from this area produce the finest wine.
Surrounding the country house are glorious views of the countryside and mountains (Subbetica).
The access has seen better days but the owner will repair the country road with the sale of the property.
Water is provided by a private well. Electricity is not connected but is nearby. Better still why not install solar panels?
The white washed town of Rute is located 10 km away and it is where you will find all amenities and public transport links. The closest airports are in Granada and Malaga both an hour’s drive away.
